Publishing is free on every plan. When a paid package sells, the platform keeps 15% — Stripe fees included — and 85% is yours. Payouts run monthly from 50 € accumulated, by SEPA transfer or invoice.
No — and it never will be. Signatures, integrity checks, trust reports and the verified-publisher badge are free on every plan, and ranking is computed from evidence. There is no paid placement, no sponsored results, no pay-for-verification. A registry you cannot trust is worthless, whatever it earns.
They stay installed wherever they are installed, stay downloadable for you, and keep accepting new versions — published work is never stranded behind a paywall. You just cannot create new private packages on Free.
The registry wins when the ecosystem grows. Public context, verified and evidence-ranked, is the network — charging for it would shrink the very thing that makes ctxpkg valuable.
